I purchased this unit after checking out many others- my only real objection is that it's black (that's why I didn't give it 5 stars), I would have preferred a wood grain, but aside from that the only problem I found was it's inability to sense the spaces between the tracks all the time. The sensor works about 80% of the time depending on the condition of the original, but of course you can easily do it manually. I was using it successfully about 5 minutes out of the box- one important thing- it needs "music" CD's not "computer" CD's. Not that easy to find and the retail store clerks didn't know there were two types of CD's. Finally I found them at Radio Shack.
