CD player burnt out in three months and never worked well anyway. The features are very limited and difficult to use.The FM receiver only goes up to 106.9.
Buy this only if you are seeking to fill the landfills, but I can think of cheaper ways to do that.

jWin JXCD428 Portable CD AM/FM Stereo Cassette Review

The problem I have with this player is that when you are playing a tape the machine makes an awful background sound. I was very dissapointed because I wanted to be able to play my tapes at the office. The radio and the CD players sound quality is good.

We bought this at Target for our 3 1/2 year old 'little lady', and she loves it!It works flawlessly, seems fairly well built, and it actually sounds very good for the price!The sound is surprisingly full with good detail for a thirty dollar boom box.It also has a CD player, cassette player, AM and FM, which makes the unit very functional.Needless to say, if your child is a 'Hello Kitty' fan, she will LOVE this 'boom box'!

UPDATE: June 1, 2009 - DO NOT BUY THIS BOOMBOX!!!FOR NO APPARENT REASON AT ALL, THIS STARTED SMOKING... YES, SMOKING, AND SEVERAL OF OUR SMOKE DETECTORS WENT OFF!!!A FEW HOURS LATER, MY HOUSE STILL REEKS OF BURNT ELECTRONICS, WHICH I'M SURE IS HAZARDOUS.I HAVE ALL THE WINDOWS OPEN, AND MY A/C UNIT ON FULL.BUYER BEWARE!!!

NAXA NX-207LQ Blue Portable CD Cassette Player Recorder Stereo Boombox Review

Bought this primarily for non-Ipod mp3 use. Hard to believe this really retails for $129.00. All plastic. Sound is ok, no bass adjustments. At first it did sound tinny, but got better the longer it was on. Pretty color!! Overall is ok, glad I didnt pay full price, I would have beed extemely disappointed.
